Chemistry classes

1.N- nitrogen has a valency 3.

The outermost orbit has 5 electrons. Hence it's unstable. In order to make it stable N has to accept 3 electrons. Thus, accepting 3 Hydrogen electrons makes it stable forming NH3 molecule.
Now, coming to the analogy. These 5 electrons represent the 5 girls. Of the 3 guys, who are electrons, 2 have jumped to a higher energy level. So with only 1 electron left in the outer orbit, the resulting ion would be NH+2 ion which is our PHEW gang.

2. O- has valency 2
The outermost orbit has 6 electrons. Hence it's unstable. In order to make it stable O has to accept 2 electrons. as per the valency theory, it is more easier to accept electrons than to donate 6 electrons.
Now, coming to the analogy. The 6 electrons in the outermost orbit represent the 6 members of the PHEW gang. It is very difficult to separate these 6 people. But PHEW gang has a large heart to accept people hence it is easier to accept people for us.

  1. Here's wishing you & all your friends a mighty HAPPY & REJUVENATING 62nd INDEPENDENCE DAY from ANDAMAN & NICOBAR THE HISTORIC INDIAN CORAL ISLANDS.

This is where the Indian Tricolor was hoisted for the very first time by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at the Gymkhana ground, Port Blair on 30th December, 1943 (Yesss... Well before the 15th August, 1947).

And our ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS were the first Indian territory to be declared free from the shackles of the British imperialism by Netaji, the real Hero, heralding the complete Independence for the whole Indian nation.

As grateful citizens of Mother India, every Indian ought to be aware of this lesser-known historic fact of supreme importance and significance.

    Vande Maataram!!!
